The system (1) has a traction system (40) connected a high pressure accumulator (20) and a pump (41.1) of an external circuit (41) independent of the braking system. The traction system transmits hydraulic energy issued from the pump of the external circuit to the high pressure accumulator to store in the accumulator. Two brake elements (5.1, 5.2) such as motorized brake elements include electrical units to create, increase or decrease the brake torque of a pair of wheels at which the brake parts are independent from action on a brake pedal (2) irrespective of vehicle speed. The pump is a hydraulic pump of a hydraulic power steering circuit. An independent claim is also included for a method for utilizing a braking system.
