Reducing content of caprolactam and oligomers of a copolyamide based on epsilon -caprolactam, whose melting temperature is 80-150[deg] C, comprises: a first washing of copolyamide with an aqueous solution comprising epsilon -caprolactam (20-60 wt.%) for 4-12 hours at 50-75[deg] C; and a second washing of copolyamide with an aqueous solution for 4-8 hours at 40-85[deg] C.
