PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of cracks passing through a burner material in a burner for temperature rise of a solid oxide fuel cell, and to relieve disturbance of flow velocity of a combustion gas at a downstream part of the burner material wherein combustion is performed. PSOLUTION: In the burner for temperature rise of a solid oxide fuel cell for use in a solid oxide fuel cell power generation system including a plurality of unit cells having a fuel electrode, an air electrode, and an electrolyte formed with solid ceramic with a structure wherein each electrolyte is sandwiched between the fuel electrode and the air electrode, the burner includes a pre-mixing section for making a pre-mixed gas by mixing a fuel for a burner and an air for a burner, and a burner material for forming a combustion surface which burns the pre-mixed gas. The burner material includes a first ceramic porous body and a second ceramic porous body which are laminated in a flow direction of the pre-mixed gas, and the second ceramic porous body is arranged at an upstream side in the flow direction of the pre-mixed gas viewed from the first ceramic porous body.
