PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical material sensing element having a high detection singularity and detecting a particular chemical material from a multicomponent gas, and also to provide a gas analyzer and a breath analyzer with it, and an acetone concentration detection method using the element. PSOLUTION: The chemical material sensing element is provided with a sensing section in which the surface of a conductive substrate is modified by a manganese phthalocyanine, and detects the particular chemical material.
