PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide rice cake-like food product containing ancient rice such that ancient rice grains are dispersed in white rice cake dough while the rice cake dough is not dyed into red, green or the like with pigment of the ancient rice unlike conventional one even though the rice cake is made from the ancient rice.;SOLUTION: A method for producing rice cake-like food product containing ancient rice includes mixing ancient rice with rice cake dough and heating the mixture, wherein the ancient rice is prevented from being crushed when mixed.
