PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining method for a separation preventing pipe joint that allows even an inexperienced worker to easily execute centering, and also to provide a separation preventing pipe joint to be joined by the method.;SOLUTION: A centering rod 40 is mounted in a socket ring 12 while the socket ring 12 is externally suitable for the socket 1a of a pipe 1. The centering rod 40 is placed on the protruding part 1d of the socket 1a so as to execute temporary centering of the socket ring 12. A screwing-out amount of a socket set bolt 16 from the socket ring 12 is then adjusted so as to execute actual centering of the socket ring 12.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
