PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conference language determining method, a conference language determining apparatus and a conference language determining program for determining a language to be used for a remote conference.;SOLUTION: A language in which all conference participants speak with one another is searched from a group of candidate languages that is a set of conference participant conversation languages registered beforehand (S1031). In a case where there is a language in which all the conference participants speak with one another (S1032:YES), it is determined whether or not the language is single (S1033). If it is single, the language is determined as a language to be used (S1034). If there are multiple languages, a language having a highest degree of public use is determined as the language to be used (S1035). Meanwhile, if there is no language in which all the conference participants speak with one another (S1032:NO), the most major conversation language out of conversation languages included in the group of candidate languages is determined as the language to be used (S1038 or S1039).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
