SILVER FILM HAVING GOLDEN METALLIC LUSTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver film having golden metallic luster in place of the conventional silvery metallic luster, with respect to a silver film having a metallic luster obtained by applying a coating liquid containing silver fine particles as a principal component on a substrate and drying it.;SOLUTION: A coating liquid for silver film formation in which the average particle diameter of particulate silver fine particles dispersed in a solvent is controlled to a range of 20-100 nm is applied at room temperature on a substrate and dried to obtain the objective silver film having a golden metallic luster. The metallic luster of the silver film is represented, in color indexes of an L^*a^*b^* color model (a standard light source: D65, a view angle: 10°), by an L^* value of ≥40, an a^* value of a positive value and a b^* value of ≥10.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
