WATER CUT-OFF STRUCTURE OF HORIZONTAL JOINT AND BUILDING WITH THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the water like rainwater from entering into an indoor side even when a water cut-off seal arranged in a horizontal joint has an end.;SOLUTION: The horizontal joint 26 formed between upper and lower exterior wall panels 21, 22 has a water cut-off structure of a double seal including a secondary water cut-off seal 42 and a primary water cut-off seal arranged on the outdoor side thereof. Since the horizontal joint 26 is in a discontinued state according to a structure of a house itself, the secondary water cut-off seal 42 has the end. A curved part 43 is formed at the end of the secondary water cut-off seal 42 in a manner that the end is curved to the outdoor side and a front end thereof projects from the exterior surface. The water passing through the primary water cut-off seal and flowing in the clearance between the primary water cut-off seal and the secondary cut-off seal 42 in a lateral direction is stopped by the curved part 43 and led to the outdoor side.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
