SCREED HEATING DEVICE FOR ROAD PAVING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage to plug caps and plug cords due to high temperatures of spark plugs.;SOLUTION: A screed heating device for a road paving machine includes a combustion device 11 for igniting and burning fuel gas in a combustion device cover 20 by an ignition plug 18 to produce hot air and a blower motor 14 connected to the combustion device 11 via a fan duct 13 and feeds the hot air to a screed plate 22 and heats it through the air blown from the blower motor 14. A plug cap 19 mounted to the spark plug 18 and a plug cord 21 connected to the plug cap 19 are arranged in the combustion device cover 20. Thus, the plug cap 19 and the plug cord 21 are surrounded with the combustion device cover 20, and are cooled through the air blown from the blow motor 14.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
