ELECTRONIC SCALE HAVING NEUTRALIZATION FUNCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus which neutralizes a sample on which static electricity is built up effectively and surely by an electronic scale without using another apparatus.;SOLUTION: The electronic scale includes a weighing space 5 and a mechanical chamber 3 behind the weighing space. The weighing space 5 is divided into an upper neutralization chamber 6 and a lower weighing chamber 7 by a partition 4. Positive or negative neutralization needles 11A to 11D are alternately arranged on the back wall 6A of the neutralization chamber 6. A neutralizer 12 for applying voltage to the neutralization needles 11A to 11D is arranged in the mechanical chamber 3 behind the back wall 6A. In order to neutralize the sample, the neutralization chamber 6 is filled with ions by the neutralization needles, and the static electricity build up on the sample is neutralized through the ions. When the neutralization is done, the sample is mounted on a weighing tray 2 in the lower weighing chamber 7 to weigh the sample without being affected by the static electricity.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
