PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that operating efficiency in selection of one word from a plurality of words which become conversion candidates for input KANA characters is deteriorated depending on the other party of transmission in the editing operation of an e-mail message. PSOLUTION: This word conversion device 1 for e-mail creation includes: a storage part 9 for storing the relation of characters to be input for acquiring a plurality of words which may be used in e-mail and the plurality of words and the sequence of the display of the plurality of words according to the characteristics of each of the other parties of transmission for every other party of transmission; an input part 2 for inputting characters; a control part 5 for displaying the plurality of words corresponding to the input characters according to the sequence by referring to the relation of the plurality of words of the other party of transmission corresponding to the input characters and the sequence; an operation part 4 for selecting the words to be used in e-mail from among the plurality of displayed words; and a selection part 6 for selecting the words in order to convert the input characters into the words to be used.
