PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a quality of a plated film on a steel sheet by preventing the contact of a nozzle with the steel sheet and controlling the mass of the plated film per unit area continuously and safely.;SOLUTION: A device for controlling the mass of the plated film per unit area includes: a calculation means for calculating a position of the steel sheet; a control means for calculating and outputting a command value for a nozzle pressure and a command value for the nozzle position which are necessary for plating the steel sheet with a desired mass of a metal; and a strip band calculation means for calculating the strip band which is a value corresponding to the total sum of a thickness, an amplitude of the vibration, the quantity of a camber, the quantity of the torsion of the steel sheet, and an amplitude of a waving shape of the end of the steel sheet, and calculating a front band edge and a back band edge corresponding to the respective positions of edges in the front side and the back side of the steel sheet, from the command value for the nozzle position and the strip band. The device also takes in the front band edge and the back band edge through the control means; determines whether the nozzles arranged on the front side and the back side of the steel sheet intersect with the band edge or not; and corrects and outputs the command value for the nozzle position, when at least either of the nozzles intersects with the band edge.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
