PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink set for a color filter, which allows smooth liquid drop ejection by an inkjet system and is used for manufacturing a color filter, wherein the color filter has a wide color reproducing range and can display an image with excellent contrast.;SOLUTION: The ink set for the color filter includes a plurality of kinds of inks, and is used for manufacturing the color filter by ejecting the ink onto a substrate including a number of cells by an inkjet system. The ink set includes a red pigment ink containing a red pigment, a green pigment ink containing a green pigment, a blue pigment ink containing a blue pigment, a cyan pigment ink containing a cyan pigment, a magenta pigment ink containing a magenta pigment, and a yellow pigment ink containing a yellow pigment.
