PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for acquiring intention determination information, with improved accuracy of intention detection. PSOLUTION: An experiment for acquiring learning data prior to operation of a machine by a brain machine interface (BMI) is divided into the following two sessions: a training session as a first stage and a brush-up session as a second stage. In the training session, data is acquired without using the machine to be operated, and parameters of intention determination algorithm are temporarily set using the data. Thereafter, in the brush-up session, data is acquired using temporary parameters in an environment for operating the machine, and the parameters of intention determination algorithm are set, including the data.
