PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microreactor carrying an enzyme-silica-based nanoporous material composite, and to provide a method for producing the microreactor.;SOLUTION: The microreactor carrying an enzyme-silica-based nanoporous material composite includes an enzyme stably immobilized in the pore of a silica-based nanoporous material. The enzyme-silica-based nanoporous material composite is carried in a passage of the microreactor so as to exhibit interaction between the enzyme and a reactant. The silica-based nanopore material satisfies the following requirements: (1) being a porous body of a compound containing a silicon atom and an oxygen atom as essential components; (2) having pore diameters of 2-50 nm; (3) having the whole pore volume of 0.1-1.5 mL/g; and (4) having a specific surface area of 200-1,500 m2. The method for producing the microreactor is also provided. As a result, the microreactor carrying the enzyme-silica-based nanoporous material composite, and having an enzymic reaction field enabling applications to various chemical processes can be provided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
