PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parallel two-wheel vehicle capable of safely being ridden, without having to carry out a predetermined procedure when riding. PSOLUTION: The parallel two-wheel vehicle control device 1 includes a driving means 2 for independently driving the two wheels coaxially disposed in parallel; a rider detecting means 3 for detecting the state of the rider, in a riding part connected to the wheel; a vehicle detecting means 4 for detecting the attitude of the vehicle; and a control means 5, which generates a control command with respect to the driving means 2, and has an initial stage control part 10 for optimizing the transition of the control from the riding time to the normal time, based on the detection result by the vehicle detecting means 4, when it is detected that the rider is riding, by satisfying a predetermined riding condition for the riding part by the rider detecting means 3.
