PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an order management system for performing a degraded operation without causing confusion when a fault occurs in a data management device and recovering order data during the fault occurring therein.;SOLUTION: The system holds a communication means common to a portable order data input device for inputting the order data received from a customer and output devices. When the fault occurs in the data management device, the order data input device generates simple slip data and display data.
