PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of coating electrode paste with accuracy on a collector sheet. PSOLUTION: The manufacturing method of a strip electrode with electrode pastes 21, 22 coated on either surface of a strip collector sheet 10, respectively, includes a first coating process coating the electrode paste 21 on a first surface 11 of the collector sheet 10, and a second coating process coating electrode paste 22 on a second surface 12 of the collector sheet 10. In the second coating process, while the first surface 11 is made wound around a back roll 32 in which a groove 33 capable of fitting the electrode paste 21 coated on the first surface 11 in the first coating process is formed on an outer peripheral surface to go forward the collector sheet 10, the electrode paste 22 is coated on the second surface 12 of the collector sheet 10 which is wound around the back roll 32.
