PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scum sucking capacity adjusting mechanism of a scum skimmer, in which the scum sucking capacity of the scum skimmer is adjusted without changing the initial position of a weir by adjusting a stroke by an adjustment rod, so that the scum sucking capacity can be set easily according to the quantity, property and state of scum in a water passage.;SOLUTION: An inter-link distance increasing/decreasing mechanism 4 for increasing/decreasing an inter-link distance is arranged between a weir plate 3 fit flexibly to a trough 1 and a connection rod 5 to make variable the water depth when scum is sucked into the trough 1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
