PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network game system which executes the processing and management of individual characters appearing on games in dispersion. PSOLUTION: Individual game machines 200 (200a, 200b and 200c) connected to the network game system 10 as shown in Fig. 1 store character information and information on managing characters into a memory part 255. An arithmetic part 260a computes changes in the positions of the respective managing characters and changes in their actions corresponding to the development of games using the character information stored in the memory part 255. A communication part 280 transmits character information packets of the respective managing characters following the changes computed to the game server 100. The game server 100 transmits the character information packets received to other game machines 200 participated in games.
