PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skeleton block which provides a good view inside a water storage facility for rainwater etc. and therefore facilitates visual inspection etc., and excels in work efficiency upon carriage and assembly by workers, to provide a space securing skeleton block structure comprising a plurality of the skeleton blocks which are assembled, and to provide the water storage facility for rainwater etc. comprising these skeleton blocks and the space securing skeleton block structure. PSOLUTION: Each of the skeleton blocks 4 arranged in an excavated hole to form a space securing skeleton structured by assembling a plurality of the skeleton blocks 4 comprises a base 41 having a flat-plate shape, supporting bodies 42 erected on a surface of the base 41 and having supporting-body-side fitting parts 42a arranged on the front ends, and base-side fitting parts 43 arranged in the surface of the base on which the supporting bodies 42 are erected and to which the supporting-body-side fitting parts 42a are fitted. When a pair of the skeleton blocks 4 face each other with the surfaces having the erected supporting bodies 42 facing each other, the supporting-body-side fitting parts 42a of one of the skeleton block 4 can be fitted to the base-side fitting parts 43 of the other skeleton block 4.
