PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an inertial load during a vertical movement of a roentgenography equipment and dispense with using a lead based material.;SOLUTION: Since the device of this invention is so constituted that an X-ray tube 1 can be quickly set to an appropriate height and a pull-up force W2 for static balance is applied by a pull-up force application part 8 utilizing the stress of a compression spring 14 since the pull-up force W2 which nearly cancels the total weight of a suspended article including the X-ray tube 1 by an X-ray tube suspension mechanism 6 placed on a self-travelling bogie 7 is applied to whole suspended article, the suspended article including the X-ray tube 1 is always in a static balance state by the pull-up force W2, and the suspended article including the X-ray tube 1 can be smoothly moved vertically, the counterweight of a heavy weight article is not necessary, and it is not necessary to use the lead based material.
