PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for relocating a coral safely, also simply and without damaging the coral, a method for cutting off and hanging up the same, and also a tool, etc., being used for these methods.;SOLUTION: This method for cutting off a coral-attached base is characterized by demarcating an expected cut off line so as to surround the coral 2 to be relocated, boring a multiple number of holes from a top point T or at optional positions on each of the sides of the expected cut off line 4 into the inside direction of the attached base 1, inserting several extending means into the several of the holes 7, pressurizing in the direction of expanding the inner diameter of the holes 7 and forming cracks in a desired direction for cutting off the attached part 3 with the coral 2 from the main body of the attached base 1 and hanging up the cut off coral 2 and its rooting part 3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
