The method due to this invention, is something regarding the solution of the problem that it strengthens the interference protection of ultrasonic test. The signal which is received with ultrasonic transducer is divided into several zones, the main signal is separated from the component of that which is arranged inside the waiting zone of the signal which is reflected from defect, individual processing is administered to the signal from the time zone which differs and by from the based echo waiting zone transmitting the signal to the wideband amplifier from the zone of action of purobinguparusu. Filtering is administered to the signal from the waiting zone of the signal which is reflected from defect, the largest signal amplitude inside the waiting zone of the signal which is reflected from defect is decided. Value of this amplitude by comparison with maximum approved possible value, existence of defect/non- existence is decided from the result of this comparison.
