Pulse jet type dust collector control device and control method thereof

Provided are a device for controlling a pulse jet type dust collector, in which a blower motor can cool itself even if dust-collecting target facilities repeat runs and stops, and a method for controlling the pulse jet type dust collector. The control device for the pulse jet type dust collector controls the individual runs of a pulse jet device and a blower motor of the pulse jet type dust collector as a whole, stops the running motor in response to a stop signal of the run of the dust-collecting target facilities, and then causes the pulse jet device exclusively for a predetermined time period. A control unit for controlling the runs of the pulse jet device is equipped with a cooling timer for setting the continuous motor running time period to cool the motor by itself.
