PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing member which is capable of improving productivity of image formation by using a release layer having a good thermal conductivity to enhance the fixing heat efficiency.;SOLUTION: On an outer periphery of a fixing roller base material 27, particulates 52 of a good thermal conductor (for example, a metal) are flocculated around particles made of fluororesin parts 51 to be made into a film as a whole. While releasability is hardly spoiled because a large area of fluororesin parts 51 is exposed to the surface of a fixing roller, heat transmission is good because good thermal conductor parts 52 are continuously brought into contact with each other. Therefore, heat is quickly transmitted in a perpendicular direction from the fixing roller base material 27 to the surface of the fixing roller, and heat is satisfactorily transmitted also in a horizontal direction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
