PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a notching method for a metal strip in a continuous treatment line for a metal strip having high reliability where, even when warpage is caused in the metal strip, notching can be surely performed thereto, and to provide a continuous treatment line for the metal strip.;SOLUTION: Notching equipment 1 is provided with: a warpage detector 2 for measuring the amount of warpage in the width direction of a steel strip 5; a tension controlling means 8 for controlling the tension of the steel strip 5; and a controller 7 for controlling the tension of the steel strip 5 via the tension controlling means on the basis of the measured amount of warpage.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
