PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice communication system and a voice communication method, capable of transmitting/receiving a call control signal necessary for voice communication even in a state where a signal line to be used for data transmission/reception of a serial interface is occupied.;SOLUTION: The voice communication system comprises a terminal and a communication apparatus connected to the terminal via a terminal side serial interface and a communication apparatus side serial interface for outputting voice communication data received via a network to the terminal via the communication apparatus side serial interface. The communication apparatus side serial interface comprises a plurality of signal lines including a signal line for data transmission and a signal line for data reception, and the communication apparatus uses a voice communication system configured to notify the terminal of a communication control signal received via the network while the signal line for data transmission continues communication with the terminal, via the other signal line.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
