Diagnosis of nasopharyngeal carcinoma and suppression of nasopharyngeal carcinoma invasion

A diagnostic method for NPC based on the activation level of the Gα₁₂ signaling pathway in a subject. Also disclosed is a method of inhibiting NPC invasion by suppressing the Gα₁₂ signaling pathway or reducing the level of IQ motif containing GTPase protein 1 in a NPC patient.
