The invention relates to a dry functional milk-based food product containing fruit ingredients, fructose and viable Lactobacillus bulgaricus cells, with a balanced content of nutritive and biologically active substances in a form easy to assimilate. The functional food product according to the invention serves for improving the metabolism in the human body and for weight reduction. The dry functional food product contains low-lactose whole cowÆs milk, part of which has undergone lactic acid fermentation under the influence of the original monoculture Lactobacillus bulgaricus LBB.B 120 with animmunostimulating effect, protein precipitate from skim cowÆs milk, hydrolyzed milk protein precipitate, whey protein, lyophilized concentrate of Lactobacillus bulgaricus LBB.B 120, fructose, apricotpuree, rose hip puree, pectin and natural aroma. The functional food product is produced by separately drying the milk ingredient with the pectin and the fruit purees and then mixing them with the dry whey protein, lyophilized concentrate of Lactobacillus bulgaricus LBB.B 120, and fructose.
