Device for sterilization or de-germination of water using UV rays with a Quartz glass tube, through which the water flows, and a housing encompassing the Quartz glass tube, which builds up a Chamber, in which the UV emitter (s) is or are provided, whereby in the Quartz glass tube a purification plug is placed longitudinal to the Quartz glass tube in such a manner that it can be moved/slid with the flow of the water.
