Phototherapy compositions comprising 8-methoxypsoralen and 2-ethylhexyl p-dimethylaminobenzoate

A composition comprising 1.0 g wheatgerm oil, 24.9 g isopropyl myristate, 0.1 g butyl-hydroxy-toluene, 100 g peanut oil, 0.1% 8-methoxypsoralen (also known as methoxsalen or xanthotoxin), 2% 2-ethylhexyl p-aminodimethyl benzoate (also known as Escalol 507 or padimate-O) and 5% ethanol is disclosed. Also disclosed is a composition comprising 0.1% 8-methoxypsoralen, 2% 2-ethylhexyl p-aminodimethyl benzoate, 1.0 g sodium lauryl sulphate, 6.0 g propylene glycol, 10.0 g stearylic alcohol, 56.0 g Vaseline and 0.05 g methyl parahydroxybenzoate.
