the present invention aims to develop a method of in vitro regeneration of prickly pear. several methods are applied to in vitro culture, somatic embryogenesis, organogenesis, direct and indirect as well as more compact and pigmented callus).these protocols can potentially be used for the improvement of the desert species in arid and semi-arid areas through somaclonal variation, selection of clones resistant to biotic and abiotic stresses with agronomically important traits (apyru00e9nie and taste, etc.).the embryogenic cultures and cells can be used in automation systems in order to exploit the reservoir of active substances from opuntia ficus indica. to do this, a process of embryogenic callus induction was achieved using the base ipomu00e9a (clc), enriched with 2 mg.1-1 2,4-d and 1 to 2.5 mg1. tdz.the induction of embryogenic callus was carried out in the cultivation of young cladodes from cross-sectional area, but also on the proliferation of immature inflorescences. in vitro shoots were obtained through direct and indirect pathways on the solid ipomu00e9a (clc), with 2 mg1. - 1, 2 mg.1-1 2,4-d and bap.finally, the production of callus and homogeneous texture, compact systems has been established by using the ipomu00e9a (clc), enriched in mg1. 1 2,4-d callus. the masses were homogeneous and may be used in cell suspensions, in the production. primary and secondary u00e9tabolites therapeutic interest, pharmaceuticals or cosmetics.
