METHOD FOR SURGICAL TREATMENT OF ODONTOGENOUS MAXILLARY SINUSITIS WITH OROANTRAL FISTULA

A method for the surgical treatment of the odontogenous maxillary sinusitis with oroantral fistula provides for maxillary sinusotomy and the closure of the fistula with mucous-periosteal flap. After trepanation of the anterior wall of the maxillary sinus, the cut osteous graft of the oval shape is divided in two parts and used for closing the oroantral fistula on the sides of both the maxillary sinus and the oral cavity. The lesser autograft placed on the side of bottom of the maxillary sinus is covered with the resorbable biomembrane. The bone defect at the site of the extracted tooth on the side of the oral cavity is filled with the thrombocyte mass prepared beforehand and closed with the larger bone graft and mucous-periosteal flap on the side of the oral cavity.
