METHOD FOR CLOSURE OF OROANTRAL FISTULA IN SURGICAL TREATMENT OF ODONTOGENOUS MAXILLARY SINUSITIS

A method for the closure of the oroantral fistula in the surgical treatment of odontogenous maxillary sinusitis provides for maxillary sinusotomy and the closure of the fistula with mucous-periosteal flap. Following the trepanation of the anterior wall of the maxillary sinus, the bone fragment of the trepanation opening is used for the closure of the oroantral fistula. On the side of the oral cavity, the walls of the oroantral fistula are refreshed with the dental drilling machine. The defect of the alveolar process is filled with thrombocitic mass.
