TECHNIQUE FOR RESECTION OF SUBGLOSSAL AREA IN SURGICAL TREATMENT OF CANCER IN ANTERIOR DIVISION OF BOTTOM OF ORAL CAVITY

A technique for the resection of the subglossal area in the surgical treatment of cancer in the anterior division of the bottom of oral cavity comprises the resection of the alveolar process and the tip of the tongue. The lower lip is cut through to the lower edge of the chin. The incision is then continued along the lower edge of the chin until the opposite angle of the mouth. The lower lip is separated from the chin with the periosteum and the mucosa of the vestibular surface of gingivae.
