A method for detection of helminth larvae in muscles of animals, fresh-water and salt-water fish comprises separation of muscle tissue, grinding of muscle mass, preparation of artificial gastric juice (AGS), digestion of muscles in AGS, ageing of this mixture, separation of the sediment from the mixture and its testing for the presence of helminth larvae. The AGS is prepared by means of dissolving in corresponding volume (0.01-) of water having the temperature of +42±2 °C of corresponding quantity (0.01-) of dry powder mixture of pepsin with activity of no less than 1:1000 and modifying agent. The testing of the collected samples is conducted individually from the each carcass, fresh-water and salt-water fish, the grinded mass (stuffing) of the muscles of investigated animal, fish is mixed with AGS, aged during 30 minutes at the temperature of +42±2 °C on the heated magnetic stirrer and microscopic investigation is realized for the presence of helminth larvae.
