APPLICATION OF MULTI-PHASE, FOR EXAMPLE THREE-PHASE, AN AUTOTRANSFORMER OR/AND A TRANSFORMER AS AN APPARATUS FOR PROTECTION MULTI-PHASE, FOR EXAMPLE THREE-PHASE, NETWORK AND RECEIVERS THEREOF (EMBODIMENTS)
The invention relates to electrical engineering and electrical power engineering. Such application is intended for decrease of conductor over-voltage of overhead lines and cable network, and receivers connected to thereof. The origin of the over-voltage may appear switching or storm phenomena, as well as an electromagnetic pulse (EMP). The said application prevents saturation of magnetic conductors with both capacitance currents and quasi-constant currents. There are two embodiments for solution of the said problems proposed. To provide working life of power-supply systems in case of switching or storm phenomena application of multi-phase, for example three-phase, autotransformer as a protection apparatus for protection of multiphase network, for example three-phase network, and receivers thereof is proposed. To provide working life of power-supply systems in case of electromagnetic pulse (EMP) application of multi-phase, for example three-phase, transformer and/or autotransformer with interphase winding as an apparatus for protection of multi-phase, for example three-phase, network and receivers thereof is proposed. In both embodiments, the target is achieved by using properties of transformers and autotransformers which comprise interphase windings, by compensation of magnetic fields in core legs and dissipation of magnetic field in case of power quasi-constant EMP currents of pair of interphase winding in case of storm discharge via compensation by compensation of magnetic fields in core legs in case of power quasi-constant EMP currents of electromagnetic pulse (EMP). An autotransformer made according Zandcircuits more effectively protects the network and receivers thereof from pulse voltages of switching or storm type. The maximum protection effect is obtained while using transformers having Z/ Zand/winding, as well as autotransformers Zand.
