Probiotic foodstuff- and/or drinking water additive comprises at least a microorganism for competitive inhibition of pathogenic germs of the strain Brachyspira hyodysenteriaein the digestive tract of animals, where the microorganism comprises Bifidobacterium thermophilum, Lactobacillus salivariusand Lactobacillus sobrius.
