Process of making a liquid crystal material, characterized in that it comprises the steps that consist of: - Applying a first treatment to a mixture of liquid crystals having a helix structure comprising a first non-photoreactive liquid crystal (A) and a second liquid crystal (B) photoreactive, the first treatment modifying a sense of the propeller of the mixture; - Apply a second treatment to the mixture so that the second liquid crystal (B) forms a polymer network, the second treatment being carried out during all or part of the duration of the first treatment, allowing the formation of the polymer network during all or part of the duration of the first treatment that the liquid crystal material retains a memory of the modifications of the propeller and that it presents in all its volume a structure in propellers at the same time right and left.
