The invention relates to a compressor which crushes all bottles in a regular manner, regardless of the shape thereof and the thickness or hardness of the plastic. The compressor is formed by different successively stacked platforms (1a, 1b) provided with central openings (2a, 2b) and four notches (3) or slits (3a) arranged in opposing pairs, in which respective plates (4a, 4b) are articulated at the intermediate point of two opposing sides. The other two sides of said plates are articulated with upper and/or lower plates of the other platforms such as to form four zig-zag configurations (4), each having an inflection (6) oriented in the opposite direction to that of the adjacent configuration, between which the bottle (B) to be compressed is placed, the upper and lower plates (4a, 4b) having no non-useful half and the upper platform (1a) being provided with means enabling the passage of the neck of the bottle (B) and for applying pressure thereto.
