METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MODIFYING CHANNEL NAMES IN MULTIMEDIA APPLICATION OF MOBILE TERMINAL

A method and device for modifying channel names in the multimedia application of a mobile terminal are disclosed in the present invention. The method includes that: when a user performs user-defined identification on the name of each channel in an ordinary channel list, the mobile terminal replaces the name of the channel in the ordinary channel list with the user-defined identification performed on the channel by the user, and the corresponding user-defined identification is displayed as the name of each channel in the ordinary channel list. The present invention realizes that the user can perform user-defined identification on the name of each channel in the ordinary channel list generated by television channels which can be watched currently and searched from a server by the mobile terminal, and that the mobile terminal binds the user-defined identification performed on the channel by the user with the signal frequency point of the channel, and displays the user-defined identification of the channel which replaces the name of the channel provided by the server in the generated ordinary channel list, so that user can know intuitively, rapidly and conveniently that the channel is mainly the channel playing what programs.
