PURPOSE: A robot and method for a route of the same are provided to increase a moving speed of a robot by expanding an acceleration/deceleration range by finding an intermediate position using a real time route creating algorithm based on GGM(Goal-oriented Geometric Model).;CONSTITUTION: A robot and method for a route of the same is as follows. The travel cost of the route of a robot is obtained. An intermediate target position(g-1,g-2,g-3,g-4,g-5) is set up by searching feature point of the route. A route is created, on which the robot travels along the intermediate target position and reaches a final destination(g).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
