An automation device maintenance system and an automation device maintenance method using the system are provided to easily select an engineer and assign a corresponding service schedule to another engineer when the engineer is not able to keep the service schedule. An automation device maintenance system(100) includes an automation device database(130) storing information on an automation device, an engineer schedule database(140) storing an automation device maintenance service schedule allocated to each engineer, a communication module(160) communicating with an engineer terminal provided to an engineer, a trouble receipt module(110), a trouble management module(120) for requesting an engineer for maintenance of an automation device having a trouble and managing the trouble according to the selected engineer, and an engineer schedule module(150) for selecting an engineer suitable for a maintenance schedule of the automation device having a trouble and registering the selected engineer in the engineer schedule database.
