PURPOSE: A method for registering a device in an access point and a device therefor are provided to register a non registration device in an access point using a registration device in which a register is not mounted.;CONSTITUTION: In authentication allowing mode, a non registration device is allowed to be authenticated. A control signal for controlling a registration device is transmitted to the registration device to enable an access point to transmit a mode change request(210). A mode check request for checking whether operating mode of the access point is the authentication allowing mode is transmitted to the access point(220).
