PURPOSE: A method for initiating handover in a femto cell and a system thereof are provided to open a handover rapidly by receiving the system information from a femto cell base station in a persistent scheduling service.;CONSTITUTION: A terminal enters a macro cell(S905), and initiates a reception measurement of system information according to an allocated measurement gap(S940). If the reception measurement of the system information is successful, the terminal transmits the successful message to a macro BS(Base Station)(S945,S950). The macro base station indicates the performance of handover to the terminal(S955), and the terminal initiates a handover process of a femto cell.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
