摘要

PURPOSE: An OLED or a group of adjacent OLEDs with a light-extraction enhanced layer which is efficient over a large range of wavelengths are provided to improve the light extraction which is emitted from an organic light emitting layer using optical cavity effect between a lower electrode and an upper electrode.;CONSTITUTION: An OLED includes at least one organic light emitting layer(3) in a space which is defined by a lower electrode(2) and an upper electrode. The organic light emitting layer is adapted to emit visible light through a semi-transparent electrode from the electrodes. The light intensity of the visible light from the organic light emitting layer is distributed within the range of a wavelength more than 150nm. A light extraction enhanced layer(5) is composed of dielectric material which is selected from ZrO_2, LiNbO_3, SiO, SnO_2, PbF_2 and SbO_3.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
