PURPOSE: An automatic composition device, and a sample preprocessing method for a dose analysis of a valuable metal for a composition device and analysis sample are provided to reduce the transportation time to move between each apparatuses, and to improve work efficiency. CONSTITUTION: An automatic composition device comprises the following: a polishing device(2) to polish a crucible for mixing a fluxing agent and an analysis sample; a coating device(3) to spray a releasing agent to the crucible; a weighing device(4) inserting pyrites to the crucible; and a returning device returning the crucible from a pallet(8) to the polishing device, returning the crucible from the polishing device to the coating device, moving the crucible from the coating device to the weighing device, and moving the crucible from the weighing device to a position of a cup receiving the analysis sample before returning the crucible to the pallet.
