PURPOSE: An optical transmission system is provided to reduce the installation fee of the multiplex section and increase the transfer efficiency using an edge filters and a plurality of wavelength converters.;CONSTITUTION: A wavelength division multiplexer(113) is connected to an optical transmitter(111) and an optical receiver(112). The wavelength division multiplexer passes the optical signal of the specific wave and reflects the optical signal of the other specific wave. A wavelength converter(120-140) converts the optic signal wavelength delivered from the wavelength division multiplexer into the optical signal of the other wavelength. The first light sharing combiner(110) binds the optical signal of channels having different wave length and transmits via the optical cable to the relay.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
